The Business Assistance NOW Program connects you directly with the Riverside County’s Economic Development team to create a clear, streamlined path as you look to start or expand your business. RivCoED staff will act as liaison with Permit Process Advisors at TLMA (Transportation & Land Management Agency), Environmental Health, Workforce Development, and more. Our goal is simple: help you establish, launch, and grow your business in Riverside County.

What the Business Assistance NOW Program Provides?
- Occupancy permit assistance — guidance through Planning and Building & Safety requirements
- Financial resources — connections to loans, grants, and incentives
- Hiring and training support — access to Workforce Development Centers and workforce incentives
- Environmental Health permits — food facilities, septic systems, wells, small water systems, body art, medical waste, solid waste, hazardous materials

How Our Team Supports You?
Our Business Assistance team acts as your liaison across County departments. In addition to TLMA and Workforce, Environmental Health advisors help you determine which permits your business needs and how to obtain them. Whether you’re opening a restaurant, managing waste, or drilling a well, they’ll help you understand requirements and move forward confidently.
Our team can also connect you with the Riverside County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office which supports businesses by providing regulatory guidance, permitting, inspections, and compliance assistance for agricultural and consumer protection programs. They work with growers, nurseries, certified producers, farmers’ markets, and other agricultural enterprises to help them understand applicable requirements and operate successfully.
