CalBaptist Family Business Center (CBU FBC)

RivCoED has partnered with the CBU FBC to offer cohort sessions across the county to support family-owned businesses specifically with the issues unique to family-owned businesses such as lack of succession planning, need for outside advisors with a neutral perspective, interpersonal conflict among family members, absence of proper governance tools, and more. 

The 2025 cohort dates and locations are as follows:

May 5-8 and May 12-15, 2025. Locations include Riverside, Corona, Temecula and Palm Desert.

Emprendedor@s Program

RivCoED has partnered with Asociacion de Emprendedor@s  to offer Emprendedor@s cohort sessions across the county. The Emprendedor@s Program is an intensive 8-week 2 hours per week program focused to educate, motivate, empower, and develop the leadership skills & business acumen of the monolingual Hispanic community in Riverside County.  

The next cohort starts on May 7, 2025 and will be held at the Mead Valley Library.

Thrive Workshops

The RivCo Small Business Thrive Program consists of training and technical and financial assistance to start or expand a business in Riverside County. The program is a collaboration with two partners: AmPac Business Capital (AmPac) and Cal State Fullerton University Auxiliary Services Corporation (ASC). Grants will be awarded in amounts ranging from $1,000 - $5,000, depending on the type of business being started or expanded. The program requires applicants attend one of the Thrive training webinars/workshops, receive one-on-one consulting services through ASC and financial literacy training from AmPac and/or SBDC in order to receive a grant.
