Starting a Business in Riverside County

Becoming an entrepreneur and starting your own business can be a rewarding experience. Let Riverside County’s Economic Development team help you achieve your goals.

Please see the following resources to assist you in your journey to entrepreneurship.

*Riverside County does not issue business licenses in the unincorporated areas of the County. If you have a brick & mortar business outside of city limits, or a home-based business that has run-off into the storm drain, you will need to register for the Stormwater Compliance Program. Please click the Register Here button below to register.

*RivCoED  encourages businesses to check with the local utility to discuss power needs. Southern CA Edison (SCE) has a site search tool to identify where current utility lines are located and view available sites. Click the below link to explore.
