Riverside County, CA (February 28, 2024) – The Riverside County Board of Supervisors and Riverside County Office of Economic Development invite you to attend the Coachella Valley Business Conference & Economic Forecast on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s Special Event Center.

The event starts at 7:30am with registration, breakfast, networking and exhibitor booths to visit. The main program will take place from 8:30a.m. - 10:30a.m., featuring keynote speaker Dr. Christopher Thornberg, Founding Partner, Beacon Economics. A renowned economist with deep expertise in economic and revenue forecasting, regional economics, economic policy, and labor and real estate markets, Dr. Thornberg has consulted globally for private industry, cities, counties, and public agencies. Additional speakers for the conference line-up include Master of Ceremonies, Brooke Beare, Emmy-winning journalist; Doug Welmas, Chairman – Cabazon Band of Cahuilla Indians and V. Manuel Perez, Fourth District Supervisor, Riverside County.

The Coachella Valley Business Conference & Economic Forecast will provide business professionals with insight and knowledge in learning about current trends, the health of the region’s economy, as well as the economic outlook for the Coachella Valley. Riverside County is California's 4th most populous county and encompasses 28 cities, tribal governments, and numerous major universities and community colleges. The area is also home to the March Air Reserve Base and the Naval Surface Warfare Center - Corona Division, offering entrepreneurial
opportunities with military research, development and technology. Riverside County has built an ecosystem of Innovation Centers to welcome and attract entrepreneurs and support innovation.
