Riverside County Library System (RCLS) is a public library system with 34 locations, two Mobile Resource Vans, two museums and a Creation Station in Riverside County, California. RCLS serves a diverse population of 1.4 million residents in a very large geography covering 7,303 square miles. RCLS locations are the educational and cultural centers of their communities. Services including a collection of over 1.3 million books, materials and electronic resources, and educational and literacy, job and career development and life enrichment programs make Riverside County an even better place to live, work, raise families, and do business.

LIBRARY CARDS

Any resident of California can receive a Riverside County Library System card. Apply for a card at any Library location, including our mobile resource vans.

LITERACY PROGRAM

These programs are completely FREE and can help you find a job, support your family, or become a citizen. We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) services to help you learn English.

CAREER ONLINE

Earn your high school diploma and a career certificate with our Career Online High School program sponsored in part by the California State Library! Qualifying students are eligible for a scholarship.

VOLUNTEER

Looking to volunteer in your community? Riverside County Library Services is always on the look out for volunteer tutors for our literacy program. Next to the adult learner, the tutor is unquestionably the most important person in the Literacy Program.
